Information architecture, wireframing, color and typography, usability testing
Omnigraffle, Wordpress, Photoshop
The goal is to create a non-profit website using a content management system (i.e. Wordpress), and to make the website responsive for large screen, tablet, and mobile. This was the final project for my spring 2012 Advanced Web Design course. This site was planned, designed, and developed in a group of two.
A site map was created for developing and understanding the underlying site architecture.
The wireframes were developed iteratively, based on peer feedback and critique as well as think aloud testing.
Photoshop mockups with color, typography, and layout were created. At the same time, we created a site map to plan out the website's underlying architecture.
First wireframe for internal review, describes content, layout, placement, IA, and assets required.
After a couple of iterations, we created a final mockup with visual elements.
